In the fourth inning, pinch runner Kelsey Kidwell scored on an error by the Rams to make it 3-0 in favor of ISU. Kidwell pinch ran for Ashley Killeen, who singled to lead off the inning.
The Rams (16-12) got one back in their half of the fourth on Rebecca Penland's first home run of the season, cutting the Iowa State lead to 3-1.
The Cyclones added a run in the fifth and two more in the seventh to secure its fourth win in five games.
Wray scored on a groundout by Karanzias in the fifth to make it 4-1. Wray singled to lead off the inning and advanced to second on Alex Johnson's only hit in the game. A walk to Reichling loaded the bases with no outs. After CSU pitcher Cayte Billman got
