AMES, Iowa ? Baylor used a three-run fifth inning to erase a one-run Iowa State lead and defeat the Cyclones 6-3 Friday afternoon at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
The game was offensively loaded with 22 hits between the two sides. Baylor (31-15, 7-3 Big 12) held a 15-7 edge in hits over Iowa State (19-22, 1-6).

Heidi Kidwell hit a double that scored Bianca Lopez and Kelsey Kidwell as the Cyclones responded in the bottom of the third, tying the score at 2-2.
The Cyclones took the lead in the fourth inning on a Lopez triple that plated Carrie Monroe from first base with two outs.
The Lady Bears got hot at the plate and proved to be too much as they put four runs on the board over the final three innings. BU had seven hits during the stretch to seal the victory.
Lopez led the Cyclones in the game, finishing 2-for-3 at the plate. Lopez's triple was the second of her career. Heidi Kidwell tied a career-high with two runs batted in.
Zabriske (12-17) took the loss for the Cyclones, giving up six runs. Zabriskie notched four strikeouts in the game.
Whitney Canion (19-11) got the win for the Lady Bears. Canion struck out 10 in the game and held the Cyclones without a hit over the final three innings.
Nicole Wesley finished the game 3-for-4 and drove in three runs to lead the Lady Bears. Third baseman Megan Turk also had three hits for BU.
Iowa State will finish off the series with Baylor Saturday at noon at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
