04.29.2025 | Athletics
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Athletics Department celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of its student-athletes Monday evening at its annual O.S.C.A.R.S. (Outstanding Scholar-Athletes Celebrating Achievements & Recognition Showcase).
The celebration is in the form of an awards show for all student-athletes and staff to showcase the best in the classroom, the locker room and in competition.
"The O.S.C.A.R.S is always a special night," Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development Sarah Lage said. "It's a time to take a pause and truly recognize the gifts and talents of our Cyclone student-athletes. From academics and athletics to community service and musical talents, the O.S.C.A.R.S is a great opportunity for our student-athletes to dress up and enjoy celebrating with one another. We are fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible student-athlete population, support staff and community. The O.S.C.A.R.S is put on through SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee), and I'm proud of the work that our Executive Board and Team Representatives did this year in planning the event."
