The Lead
The 52nd season of Cyclone Softball was a memorable one, as Iowa State put forth its best conference performance in its 30 years as a member of the Big 12, finishing third in the conference. The Cyclone bats produced at a high clip, churning out a top five all-time performance at the plate. After losing 11 players from its 2024 roster, eight freshmen and a pair of transfers helped the Cyclones claim their third 30-plus win season of the Pinkerton Era.
