LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Iowa State junior center Audi Crooks has been to the Wooden Award National Ballot Top 15. Crooks is one of three juniors to be considered for the award and one of two Big 12 Conference players on the list.
A unanimous First-Team All-Big 12 Conference player for the third-straight season, Crooks is averaging a league-best 25.5 points per game while shooting nearly 65 percent from the floor as the nation's second leading scorer. She scored her 2,000th career point in her 89th game, becoming the fastest Big 12 women's basketball player to reach the milestone. The Algona, Iowa native averaged 7.8 rebounds while recording 12 double-doubles this season. She has scored in double figures in 97 consecutive games, the longest active streak nationally, and is the only player in the country to record multiple 40-point games this season.
Voting for the 2026 John R. Wooden Award® All America Team presented by Principal® will open on March 16 at 6:00 AM ET and close on March 28 at 11:59 PM ET. During that time, voters will evaluate each candidate's complete body of work throughout the season, including performances in the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament, to determine the most outstanding players in college basketball.
The Wooden Award Men's and Women's All America Teams, along with the Men's and Women's Top Five finalists for the Wooden Award Trophy, will be announced on Saturday, April 4 during the Men's Final Four, building anticipation for the sport's most prestigious individual honor.
