Big 12 Announces 2026-27 MBB Conference Opponents

IRVING, Texas -Â The Big 12 Conference has announced the conference scheduling matrix for the 2026-27 men's basketball season. Each school has a home-and-home with three other conference opponents, and faces the other 12 opponents once, with six at home and six on the road for an 18-game Big 12 schedule.
Opponents were selected based to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. A full Big 12 schedule will be released at a later date.
The three opponents Iowa State will face twice are Kansas, Oklahoma State and West Virginia. The Cyclones will host Arizona, BYU, Cincinnati, Kansas State, TCU and Utah. Iowa State will play Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Houston, Texas Tech and UCF in road only games.
Iowa State (No. 18), Arizona (No. 10) and Houston (No. 12) all appear in ESPN's Way Too Early Top 25, while BYU is among the next five listed.
The Big 12 will crown its postseason champion at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, March 9-13.
