Cyclones Sign Jumoke Adekoye

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State women's wrestling has added a third multi-time NAIA champion, as it has signed 131-pounder Jumoke Adekoye from Dickinson State, head coach Alli St. John announced.
Adekoye, like previous signees Christianah Ogunsaya and Esther Kolawole, hails from Akure, Nigeria, and has won NAIA titles in her first two collegiate seasons.
The addition of Adekoye brings Iowa State's roster to 12 total, and she is the ninth transfer added.

Adekoye spent the first two seasons of her collegiate career at Dickinson State, where she wrestled at 131 for the Blue Hawks. Adekoye was dominant as an underclassman, posting a 50-5 record across two seasons and earning a pair of NAIA titles. Finished as Heart of America Conference runner-up as a freshman before claiming the conference titles as a sophomore.
On the international scene, Adekoye wrestled as a member of the 2025 Nigerian World Team. She is also a four-time African champion (2022-23, 2025-26) and was a 2018 Cadet African Champion.
