Seven Cyclones Named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its yearly academic awards on Wednesday. Seven Cyclones were named to the NABC Honors Court, while the team earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. Iowa State's seven selections were the most in the Big 12.
Blake Buchanan, Cade Kelderman, Eric Mulder, Mason Williams, Milan Momcilovic, Nate Heise and Tamin Lipsey all earned the award. It was the second-straight year earning the award for Heise, Kelderman, Lipsey and Mulder.Â
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26Â academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26Â year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
