Iowa State Adds Anaya Falcon to Roster

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State women's wrestling program has added Life University 110-pound transfer Anaya Falcon to the roster, head coach Alli St. John announced.
Falcon, a standout in her freshman season at Life in the 2024-25 season, transfers to Iowa State after missing last season with an injury.
The Cyclones now have a roster of 16 athletes, with 13 coming via the transfer portal and three from the high school ranks.

In her lone year with Life, Falcon tallied a 31-1 record on her way to an NAIA runner-up finish at 110 pounds. She was the Mid-South 110-pound champion and was also named the league's Wrestler of the Year as a true freshman. With her lone loss coming in the national finals, Falcon went 8-0 in dual action and was 7-0 against NCAA competition.
Falcon's prep career was decorated, as she was rated as the nation's No. 11 overall recruit coming out of high school by FloWrestling. She amassed a 119-0 record and four California state titles at Walnut, helping the school to its first state title in 2024. She was a 2024 U20 World Team member and placed seventh at the U20 championships.
