Second Home Cross Country Meet Canceled Due to Weather

AMES, Iowa - Due to current course conditions and forecasted inclement weather later this week, Iowa State has canceled its second home cross country meet, originally scheduled for this Friday, September 18th.Â
Upon inspection Monday morning, multiple locations on the course were found to be underwater. Combined with anticipated showers throughout the week, the program decided canceling the meet would be the safest option for athletes.
Iowa State will host the NCAA Regional Championships on Friday, November 13th. The Cyclones are set to compete at the Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday, October 9th.Â
