Jackson Scott-Brown is in his second season as an offensive graduate assistant for Iowa State.
In his first season at Iowa State, Scott-Brown helped the Cyclones to the most successful season in school history. ISU finished 11-3 overall, the first double-digit win season in program history, and reached the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship game after finishing 7-2 in conference action. The Cyclones won the Pop-Tarts Bowl with a thrilling 42-41 victory over No. 15 Miami.
ISU's offense had 25 rushing touchdowns in 2024, the fourth-most in a single season in program history. The Cyclone rushing attack picked up nearly 40 more yards on the ground than the previous season and allowed just 16 sacks in 14 games to rank among the Top-20 nationally.
Jarrod Hufford capped his six-year career earning All-Big 12 honorable mention honors in his first season playing center for the team.
Scott-Brown played for Iowa State run game coordinator and offensive line coach Ryan Clanton at UNI from 2015-19. He was a four-year starter at left guard, playing in 50 games and starting a UNI record 48 straight.
The Council Bluffs, Iowa native was a team captain for the Panthers and earned Walter Camp First Team All-America accolades as a senior in 2019, helping UNI reach the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs. Scott-Brown was an All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection in 2018 and 2019.
Scott-Brown played professionally in 2022 for the Philadelphia Stars of the USFL, making three starts. He started the inaugural USFL Championship game. Scott-Brown also spent time with the Conquerors of the TSL in 2020.
Scott-Brown worked as a strength and conditioning coach for New Mexico State, as well as the USFL Detroit Hub.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in movement and exercise science with a minor in coaching from UNI in 2019.
