Outdoor: Threw the hammer in eight meets for Iowa State … earned First Team All-America honors with fourth-place finish in hammer throw at NCAA Outdoor Championships (233-4, 71.12m) … qualified for Eugene with seventh-place finish at NCAA West Preliminaries (221-7, 67.53m) … claimed second-straight hammer throw silver medal at the Big 12 Championships (219-8, 66.96m) … re-set school hammer throw record twice during season, posting his personal best with a 237-7 (72.41m) to take third at the Rock Chalk Classic … was second at Drake Relays (219-6, 66.90m) and third at Florida Relays (222-9, 67.89m) … opened season with victory at Longhorn Invitational (212-2, 64.67m) … also threw at the Blue Oval Invitational.

Outdoor: Finished off his outstanding season in the hammer throw with Honorable Mention All-America honors, finishing 17th with the second-best throw of his career at 217-10 (66.39m), only two centemeters off his school record … qualified for Austin with 10th place finish in hammer (212-1, 64.64m) at NCAA West Preliminaries … picked up Big 12 Championships silver medal in the hammer throw (216-8, 66.04m) … began season with three-straight wins, breaking the school hammer throw record twice in the process … won hammer throw at Arkansas Spring Invite (216-10, 66.09m), Sun Angel Classic (211-4, 64.42m) and War Eagle Invite (217-10, 66.41m).

Indoor: Earned first career All-America honors, earning Second Team All-America with 13th place finish in weight throw (67-8 1/4, 20.63m) at NCAA Indoor Championships … set current school record with silver-medal throw of 71-8 3/4 (21.86m) at Big 12 Indoor Championships … got wins in three of four regular season meets, winning weight throw at Jimmy Grant Invite, Wieczorek Invite and Iowa State Classic … also did weight throw at Husker Invite, finishing third with then-school record mark of 71-4 (21.74m).

2017-18
Outdoor: Competed in the hammer throw in seven meets for Iowa State … qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the hammer throw, finishing 28th (196-11, 60.03m) … finished ninth in the hammer at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships (184-9, 56.32m) … recorded a personal-best 199-0 (60.67m) at the Sun Angel Classic … won the Tulsa Duels with a throw of 194-11 (59.42m) … finished second at the Musco Twilight (190-8, 58.11m) … also threw the hammer at the Michael Johnson Invitational and Drake Relays.

Indoor: Partook in the weight throw at seven meets … finished indoor season with bronze medal and school record in the weight throw at 68-9 3/4 (20.97m) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships … won the weight throw at the Cyclone Duals (59-2 3/4, 18.05m) and the Hawkeye Invitational (63-4, 19.30m) … finished second in the weight throw at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (67-4 3/4, 20.54m) … also competed in the weight throw at the Husker Invitational, Iowa State Classic and Nebraska Tune-Up.

Outdoor: Competed in five meets for Iowa State, throwing the hammer in all five … finished 15th in the hammer throw at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships … tosses a personal-best 177-2 to finish seventh at the Musco Twilight … threw a 177-1 at the Sun Angel Classic … finished fourth in the hammer throw at the Tulsa Duels … also competed at the Kip Janvrin Open.

Indoor: Took part in five meets for the Cyclones, all in the weight throw … finished 12th in the weight throw at the Big 12 Indoor Championships … threw a personal-best 56-1 1/4 in the weight throw at the Larry Wieczorek Invite … improved his personal best in the weight throw by over 15 feet compared to 2016 … also competed in the Hawkeye Invitational, Husker Invitational and Iowa State Classic.
