Abby Hansen joined the Iowa State Athletics Communications office as a Communications Specialist in July 2022. She currently serves as the primary contact for volleyball and track and field and the secondary contact for women’s basketball.

Prior to her current position, Hansen started as a student intern at Iowa State from 2018-22. For three seasons, Hansen worked as the primary contact for swimming and diving.

Hansen holds a B.S. in public relations from Iowa State (2022). She is a native of St. Ansgar, Iowa.
