Brady Meister joined the Iowa State staff at the beginning of April 2023. He returned to Ames after spending two years in San Antonio working with the UTSA athletics communications staff, where he was elevated to Assistant Athletics Communications Director after spending one year as a graduate assistant.

In his current role with the Cyclones, Brady handles the primary contact responsibilities for soccer, gymnastics and softball as well as secondary contact responsibilities for men’s basketball.

In his previous position with the Roadrunners, Meister handled a multitude of duties, including serving as the primary contact for soccer and baseball as a graduate assistant before taking the reigns to volleyball, men’s basketball and men’s tennis for the 2022-23 season while also serving as the secondary contact for the football team.

Brady began his career in athletic communications as an undergraduate student at Iowa State, working both his junior and senior years with the ISU office.

Meister holds an M.S. in communication from UTSA (2023) and a B.S. in public relations from Iowa State University (2019). He is a native of Moville, Iowa, who graduated from Woodbury Central High School (2016).
