Erin Brocka enters her third season as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for Iowa State women's basketball, joining the Cyclones in June 2023.
She is responsible for creating and implementing training programs for the Cyclones women's basketball team and has seen Iowa State reach the NCAA Tournament in each of her first two seasons with the program.
Brocka is a CSCCa-SCCC certified strength coach, 200-hour yoga teacher training-certified, Baptiste Level I certified and TPI Levels 1 and 2 certified.
Brocka comes to Ames following four years at Purdue. She was responsible for creating and implementing training programs for a volleyball team that made the NCAA Elite Eight in 2020 and 2021, while advancing to the second round in 2022. Brocka worked with 12 All-Americans between the volleyball and diving programs, including National Champion Tyler Downs on the diving team.
A 2011 graduate of Northern Iowa, Brocka was a member of the Panther women's basketball team from 2007-11. A team captain, Brocka earned Academic All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 2010 and 2011, while she was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team in 2011. Brocka earned her master's degree from UNI in 2012.
She and her husband, Jay Miller, have a son, Max, and a daughter, Stevie.
