Estrella was hired as an assistant gymnastics coach on June 9, 2025.

Prior to Iowa State
Estrella, a former collegiate gymnast at both Utah State (2017-18) and Temple (2019-20), spent time coaching at both Temple (2023) and the University of New Hampshire (2024-25).

Estrella is Temple’s record holder on the uneven bars (9.95) and her individual accomplishments as a student-athlete included seven event titles, ECAC Gymnast of the Week, All-ECAC First Team (vault, bars) and ECAC All-Second Team (vault, balance beam). She helped Temple win back-to-back ECAC Championships in her two seasons on the squad and was part of the school’s best-ever beam team at the time.

Prior to Temple, Estrella spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons at Utah State, where she qualified for NCAA Regional on bars, vault, and floor and earned Mountain Rim Conference Specialist of the Week on multiple occasions.

Personal
Estrella earned her degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple in 2020.
