Senior Shelly Kringen finished in a three-way tie for fifth place with Cory Fritzinger and Breanne Rutherford of
Senior Sissy Huey tallied a fourth-place finish on the uneven bars (9.850). Sophomore Chee Chee Calina saw action on the bars for the first time this season after recovering from tears to both of her Achilles' tendons late last summer. She scored a 9.750 on the event.
Kringen scored a 9.80 on the balance beam to finish in a four-way tie for fifth with Fritzinger, Kara Waterhouse of
Freshman Abigail Richey tied her personal-best score of 9.70 on beam.
On floor exercise, Kringen took fourth with a 9.875. Huey and junior Karen Kuplicki tallied marks of 9.825 to place in a six-way tie for sixth in the event.
Kringen (38.775) and Huey (38.575) placed sixth and seventh in the all-around competition, respectively.
