COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Cyclone sophomore Abigail Richey took first in the all-around competition at No. 20 Missouri in No. 18 Iowa State's season opener, but fell to the Tigers, 192.000-192.575. ISU's record drops to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in Big 12 Conference action.

In only her second collegiate competition as an all-around, Richey took first, scoring a 38.750. She place din a four-way tie for second on uneven bars (9.775) with Lindsay Davis, Rachael Dombart and Katie Roets of
Freshman Erin Dethloff won the floor exercise with a 9.850 and took second on vault with a 9.825. Competing as an all-arounder in the first meet of her collegiate career, Dethloff place third (38.20) after finishing seventh and eighth on uneven bars (9.250) and balance beam (9.275), respectively.
Sophomore Susan Stock claimed two first-place finishes on vault and balance beam. Her score of 9.875 on vault and 9.825 on beam both mark career highs. Cyclone Laura-Kay Powell and Courtney Sarrett tied for second place on beam with scores of 9.80.
