SAN DIEGO, Calif. ? San Diego scored three runs in the seventh inning to defeat Iowa State, 3-2, Friday evening at the San Diego Classic.
Iowa State (16-10) led heading into the last inning but San Diego got the frame started with back-to-back singles from Kaslin Tucker and Taryn Keenan off ISU hurler Rachel Zabriskie. After a pop out, Kristen Gensler singled to load the bases and Lindsay Fleet doubled to tie the score. A wild pitch by Zabriskie to the next batter scored Gensler and gave the Toreros the win.

Zabriskie (9-6) got the loss despite allowing just four hits in the first six innings. The sophomore struck out six in the losing effort.
Katie Jo Nelson got the win for the Toreros (4-17), allowing just three hits while striking out two.
The Cyclones will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Saturday with back-to-back games against San Diego State and Cal State-Northridge.
