The Cyclones got on the board in the third inning as Bradberry belted her second homer of the season, a two-run shot, off KU starter Sarah Vertelka to give ISU a 2-0 lead. Bradberry's homer scored Kelsey Kidwell, who beat out an infield hit to reach base.
After Kansas cut the lead to 2-1 with a solo shot by Liz Kocon in the top of the fourth, ISU tacked on an insurance run in the bottom half of the inning. Heidi Kidwell had the clutch two-out single to plate Carrie Monroe from third base.
Kennewell did the rest of the work, keeping Kansas off the scoreboard over the final three innings to get the win.
The top-three hitters in the ISU lineup went 6-for-11 with Kelsey Kidwell, Carleigh Berry and Bradberry collecting two hits each. Heidi Kidwell also had a pair of hits for the Cyclones, who swept their first Big 12 series since 2007.
Vertelka (9-10) took the loss for the Jayhawks, allowing three runs on eight hits.
