#CycloneNotes
• Prohm's .684 winning percentage is the best in school history...his next win will move him into ISU's top-10 all-time for men's basketball coaching victories...of Prohm's 54 wins at Iowa State 15 have come at neutral sites, ranking fourth among ISU coaches in that category.Â
• Iowa State has leaned on its guard trio of Nick Weiler-Babb, Donovan Jackson and Lindell Wigginton to turn around its early season struggles...the trio is averaging a combined 46.3 points per game, which is 59.6 percent of ISU's total points...they've posted all 10 of ISU's 20-point games and Wigginton and Weiler-Babb have five of the team's seven double-doubles this season...the trio is shooting a combined 43.7 percent behind the arc.
• Wigginton, last week's Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, has burst onto the scene of late, averaging 22.7 points the last three games and scoring 20 or more points in three of the last four outings...he has been impressive from long distance, connecting on 57.9 percent of his 3-pointers the last three games and hitting 48.9 percent from behind the arc this season...only one freshman in the nation, Saint Joseph's Taylor Funk, has connected on at least 20 three-pointers and is shooting better than Wigginton.
• Weiler-Babb has proven to be the point guard the Cyclones were looking for since moving into the role of primary ball handler at the start of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off...he earned tournament MVP honors and was named Big 12 Player of the Week for his performance in Myrtle Beach...in ISU's seven-game winning streak, Weiler-Babb is averaging 9.4 assists and boasts a 4.13 assist-to-turnover ratio...his impact on the offense has immediate, with the Cyclones averaging 83.6 percent during the winning streak after posting just 57.5 points in the season's first two games.
• Weiler-Babb's 7.9 assists per game rank fifth nationally...he has had double-figure assists in four of the last five games and at least eight assists in six consecutive games...Weiler-Babb's numbers compare favorably to former Cyclone All-American Monté Morris, who made his NBA debut with the Denver Nuggets this week...through nine games this season, Weiler-Babb has averaged 12.8 points, 7.9 assists and has a 3.09 assist-to-turnover ratio...last season through nine games, Morris averaged 14.2 points, 6.1 assists and posted a 3.93 a/to ratio.

• Jackson has a chance to become just the sixth Cyclone to shoot 40 percent behind the arc in back-to-back seasons with 20 or more made 3-pointers...the others were Mike Born (1988-89), Scott Christopherson (2010-12), Fred Hoiberg (1994-95), Jake Sullivan (2001-03) and Matt Thomas (2016-17).
