AMES, Iowa – The No. 25 Iowa State gymnastics team travels to Columbia, Missouri this weekend to compete in its first quad meet of the year. The Cyclones will be competing against the host school, No. 13 Missouri, as well as No. 14 George Washington and Lindenwood. The meet will take place Friday night at the Hearnes Center beginning at 7:00 p.m.
For the first time this season, the Cyclones are ranked in the top 25 in the Road to Nationals poll. The increased ranking comes after three strong meets from Iowa State including their season-high meet score, a 196.125 at Texas Woman's University. In their most recent competition last Friday, ISU defeated both Southeast Missouri and Centenary College with a 195.775 at home.
