WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State is opening Big 12 play on the road for the first time since the 2015-16 season...this is just the second time that ISU and Oklahoma State have opened Big 12 play against one another, the other being a 63-61 Cyclone win at Hilton Coliseum on Jan. 6, 2015.
2. Marial Shayok enters conference play as the league's top scorer (20.1 ppg)...the Cyclones have three players ranked among the Big 12's top-7 scorers: Shayok, Michael Jacobson (6th, 15.4) and Talen Horton-Tucker (7th, 14.8).
3. The Cyclones played their first game of the season with their full roster in its previous game against Eastern Illinois as Lindell Wigginton and Solomon Young returned to the lineup.
4. ISU has won five games by 25 points or more this season after doing so just once a season ago...nine of ISU's 10 wins have come by double figures...the Cyclones are second among Big 12 teams and 11th nationally in scoring margin.
5. ISU is averaging 90.8 points the last four contests...the Cyclones are shooting 54.3 percent from the field and 38.8 percent behind the arc during that stretch.
LAST TIME OUT: CYCLONES ROUT EASTERN ILLINOIS
• Iowa State shot 57.4 percent from the floor and assisted on 28 of its 39 field goals as it routed Eastern Illinois, 101-53, in its final Big 12 tuneup...it was ISU's second game topping the century mark this season.
• The 48-point win was a season-high for victory margin and tied for the 17th-best margin in school history.
• ISU had a season-low five turnovers to go with its season-high matching 28 assists...the Cyclones also outrebounded EIU by 25 boards.
• Shayok led the Cyclones with 23 points, while Jacobson and Wigginton scored 15 points each in the team's first game at full strength this season.
• Horton-Tucker had a terrific all-around game, finishign with eight points, eight assists, five rebounds and three blocks.

IOWA STATE-OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES NOTES
• Iowa State and Oklahoma State are meeting for the 129th time in series history, with OSU holding a 65-63 edge in the all-time series...OSU leads 38-17 in games played in Stillwater...the Cyclones have won 10 of the last 12 meetings...the last 15 games in the series have been decided by an average of 5.8 points...four games have gone to OT in that stretch (3OT game and three overtime games).
• ISU has won four of the last five games in Stillwater...OSU swept last season's series.
