1. Iowa State is 5-0 at Hilton Coliseum this season and puts its 12-game non-conference home winning streak on the line Thursday.
2. Steve Prohm is looking for win No. 90 as head coach at Iowa State...ISU's win against Seton Hall was his 17th against an AP-Top 25 team.
3. Rasir Bolton was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after averaging 18.0 points and 5.0 rebounds...he averaged 10.5 free throw attempts per game last week, making 18.
4. Tyrese Haliburton is the only player in the nation averaging 16.0 points, 8.0 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals...in the last decade, no player has averaged those numbers and only four players since the turn of the century have averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals.

LASTÂ TIMEÂ OUTÂ - CYCLONES GET REVENGE IN WIN AGAINST SETON HALL
• Iowa State's defense turned up in a big way when it was needed most...the Cyclones struggled early against Seton Hall, connecting on just two of its first 18 shots...the Cyclones took a two-point lead into the break and outscored the Pirates 48-40 in the second half to avenge a loss to them 10 days earlier.
• The Cyclones held the Pirates to 36.8 percent shooting, the lowest percentage by an opponent from one of the nation's top-six leagues this season...Prentiss Nixon helped the Cyclone cause by playing a significant role in holding Myles Powell to 7-of-20 shooting, including 4-for-11 behind the arc.
• ISU was led by Haliburton, Bolton and Conditt scoring 17 points each...Jacobson had a team-high 10 boards, his second double-digit rebounding game this season...ISU was 26-for-33 at the line, making 16-of-17 free throws over the final 4:19.
• After being outrebounded by 11 in the first meeting, ISU held the edge in the second meeting, 43-40.
IOWAÂ STATE-IOWA SERIESÂ NOTES
• Iowa State and Iowa are meeting for the 73rd time...the Hawkeyes hold a 45-27 edge in the series, but ISU leads 20-16 in Ames and 17-8 at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones have won seven of the last 10 meetings.
• The home team has won 14 of the last 16 meetings in the series...ISU's 2010 win (75-72) and 2014 win (90-75) in Iowa City are the exceptions.
