AMES, Iowa – Brock Purdy's rookie season was one for the ages in 2018.
Taking over as ISU's signal-caller in the fifth game of the season, Purdy led the Cyclones to a 7-2 record and a trip to the Alamo Bowl.
Purdy set school records in completion percentage (66.4) and passing efficiency (169.9), ranking sixth nationally and the best-ever efficiency rating by a true freshman QB in NCAA history.
What can Purdy do for an encore? With a year under his belt, the Cyclones will look for Purdy to take over as a leader in 2019.
