The Lead: Iowa State closes the home portion of the schedule Monday night, as the Cyclones host West Virginia. Iowa State will honor its eight seniors prior to the game in a ceremony that will begin 15 minutes before tipoff.

Storylines:

Iowa State has held all but one (Texas Tech-Overtime) Big 12 opponent below its season scoring average. That total includes holding No. 8 Kansas to 53 points, the lowest conference total under Bill Self, and No. 22 TCU to a season-low 59 points Feb. 15.
The Cyclones lead the country in wins over Associated Press Top 25 and AP Top 10 teams this season. ISU has seven AP Top 25 victories and four AP Top 10 victories.
Tamin Lipsey is averaging 7.6 points, 4.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.4 turnovers per game. He is one of four players in the country averaging those numbers this season and just the 18th in the last 10 years to do so.

From the Notes: Iowa State has forced 25 or more turnovers in a game three times this season. The Cyclones are one of eight schools do have done so and the only Power Six school to do it. ISU, Arkansas and Texas Tech are the only Power Six schools to force 30 or more turnovers in a game this year.
