IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa State fell to the Hawkeyes in the Cy-Hawk Gymnastics meet 195.275-194.200 Saturday evening at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Maddie Diab scored her sixth-straight score of 9.900 or higher on floor, continuing her streak of excellence. Josie Bergstrom scored two 9.825s on vault and beam to lead Iowa State on those two events. Laura Cooke also scored a 9.825 on bars.
Bars – 48.825
Cooke led the way for Iowa State on bars, scoring a 9.825. Maya Ford scored a 9.775 in her first bars routine of the season. Maddy Langkamp and Natalie Horowitz both posted scores of 9.750.
Vault – 48.425
The Cyclones were led on vault by Bergstrom, who notched a 9.825. Kelsey Boychuk and Kaia Parker each earned scores of 9.750.
Floor – 48.975
Diab scored her third-straight 9.925 on floor to lead the way for Iowa State. Both Alondra Maldonado and Ana Irene Palacios notched scores of 9.825.
Beam – 47.975
Bergstrom led the Cyclones on balance-beam, scoring a 9.825. Hannah Loyim posted a 9.775, and Maldonado notched a 9.750.
