Cyclones Lead The Bama Beach Bash After Day One

GULF SHORES, AL- Cyclones headed down to the Gulf Shores to take part in the Bama Beach Bash. After round one, the Cyclones led by nine strokes to host UAB and UNC Ashville. The Cyclones were led by Keeley Marx, who traveled down as an individual where she was tied for third after scoring a plus one round. Marx shot a clean round with 15 pars on the card. Pammy Chookaew totaled three birdies in her first round, scoring a plus two round, placing her in a tie for fourth.

Tying each other, Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn and Alexandra Vidal both had a nice first round performance, shooting three over, placing them both in a tie for eighth. Chul-Ak-Sorn had three birdies on her card. Nichakorn Pinprayoon landed in a tie for 22nd after grabbing a team-high four birdies and shooting a six-over round. Isabella Yan rounded out the Cyclones, shooting a plus-seven round and placed herself in a tie for 28th.

The Cyclones will continue tomorrow with round two and will look to stay in front in the Bama Beach Bash.
