Cyclones Stay At The Top With One Round To Play

GULF SHORES, AL- Round two concluded with the Cyclones staying put at the top. The Cyclones shot 10 strokes better than their previous day, putting their total at a plus 18. The Cyclones lead UNC Ashville the next close by 20 strokes. The Cyclones were led by Pammy Chookaew, who shot a clean one-under round, putting her alone at second, putting her total at one-over. Chookaew's four birdies helped secure an under-par round.

Alexandra Vidal sits in the Cyclones' second spot in a tie for sixth as she shot a two-over round, putting her total at a plus five. Vidal also snagged four birdies, three of them coming on her back nine. Nichakorn Pinprayoon and Karisa Chul- Ak-Sorn both sit in a tie for eighth at plus six. Pinprayoon shot an even round where she managed to grab the team's only eagle of the tournament. Chul-Ak-Sorn shot her second three-over round of the tournament while grabbing three birdies in her round.

Keeley Marx, playing as an individual, finished her second round in a tie for 14th as she shot an eight-over round, putting her total at a plus nine. Isabella Yan rounded out the Cyclones and ended her second round in a tie for 25th as she shot a six-over round, putting her total at a plus 13.

The Cyclones will look to get their first win of the year as they sit at the top with just one round to go at the Bama Beach Bash.
