Cyclones In First After Two Rounds

MARICOPA, AZ- Cyclones finished two rounds today in first place at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The Cyclones ended up 12-over after 36 holes; UNLV sits in second place, just behind at 13-over. Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn sits at the top of the leaderboard, shooting +1 after two rounds; Her splits were +1 and even. Chul-Ak-Sorn scraped up eight total birdies after her rounds today.

Pammy Chookaew took the Cyclones' second spot after shooting +3 after her rounds put her in a tie for sixth. Chookaew grabbed eight birdies after her 36 holes. Nichakorn Pinprayoon and Keeley Marx stayed together as they both ended up in a tie for tenth. Pinprayoon went +1 and +3 in her two rounds while grabbing four birdies. Marx went -3 and +7 in her rounds while snagging eight total birdies.

Isabella Yan ended her day off in a tie for 41st. Yan went 81-76 in her splits, putting her total at +13. Yan ended her round with a total of four birdies. Alexandra Vidal ended off the Cyclones as Vidal played as an individual as she sat in a tie for 54th. Vidal finished +16 while grabbing five birdies in her rounds.

The Cyclones are set to tee off tomorrow in the final round with hopes of winning back-to-back tournaments.
