AMES, Iowa - Iowa State women's golfers Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn and Pammy Chookaew were named the Cyclone Club Athletes of the Week for their performances at the Big 12 Women's Golf Championship last week.
Chul-Ak-Sorn and Chookaew tied for fifth place in the individual standings at the Big 12 Championship and were named to the league's All-Tournament Team, making it the fourth-consecutive year Iowa State has had multiple selections to the team. Chul-Ak-Sorn became the third player in program history to earn All-Tournament Team honors three times while Chookaew is the seventh player in program history to be recognized at least twice.
Both Cyclones carded total scores of 216 which tied for the sixth-best total score in a conference championship in program history.
Iowa State finished in sixth place in the team standings.
