ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The Cyclones finished up their final round, placing in a tie for third and ending up 26-over after three rounds. Pammy Chookaew kept it going and won the Wolverine Invitational after shooting one-over in her final round to put her total at five-under. Chookaew kept the card clean again, ending up with just three bogeys after 54 holes.
Isabella Yan had a great tournament, placing second for the Cyclones and in a tie for 16th, shooting eight-over after 54 holes. Nichakorn Pinprayoon finished her tournament up shooting 10-over and placing in a tie for 25th. Pinprayoon had a total of seven birdies in her three rounds. Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn finished her day with a seven-over round and placed in a tie for 55th with a total of 17-over. Keeley Marx rounded out the Cyclones, finishing in a tie for 60th and shooting 19-over.
The Cyclones finished nine strokes behind Kent State, who took the team win at the Wolverine Invitational, shooting 17-over. Pammy Chookaew took the individual win and will look to keep it going as the Cyclones play next at the Schooner Fall Classic Sept. 20-22.
