Cyclones Wrap Up Day Two With One Round to Go at the Big 12 Championship

TULSA, Oklahoma - Iowa State has fallen into last place after the conclusion of the third round today. The Cyclones drop a spot after shooting a 298 (+18) this afternoon.

Paul Beauvy is inside the Top-20, currently tied for eighteenth with a 54-hole score of 218 (+8). After carding two birdies today, Beauvy has eclipsed the 100 birdie mark on the season and leads the team with 102. Owen Sawyer tied the lowest round with Beauvy for ISU today (74), and carded two birdies as well. Sawyer sits in a tie for 55th entering the final round.

Luke Gutschewski shot five over-par in the third round, and is tied for 61st. The senior also surpassed the 100 birdie mark with the help of two birdies today. Gutschewski is second on the team behind Beauvy with 101 birdies. Zach May is alone in 69th place after tallying two birdies today. Dianchao Wu stepped in again after being subbed out in the second round and shot a 75 with one birdie.

#4 Oklahoma State has taken the lead over #5 Arizona State entering the final round after shooting four-under today, the only team to shoot under-par in the third round. There is a three-way tie for first (-1) in the individual race between Houston's #150 Wolfgang Glawe and Arizona State's #8 Josele Ballester and #55 Connor Williams.

Iowa State will begin teeing off at 8 a.m. CT tomorrow morning for the final round of the Big 12 Championship. Live coverage will be broadcasted on ESPN+ starting at 11:30 a.m.
