AMES, Iowa – Rachel Joseph and Maelle Porcher earned CSC Academic All-America recognition as the women's teams were announced today.
Joseph was placed on Second Team Academic All-America, making her a two-time Academic All-American after earning a third team honor last year. The junior adds to her lengthy list of academic and athletic awards as she earns her degree in criminal justice. Joseph earned three of her five All-America honors in 2025, two Big 12 titles, USTFCCCA Regional Women's Outdoor & Indoor Track Athlete of the Year and 2024-25 Celia Barquin Arozamena Iowa State Female Athlete of the Year.
Porcher is a first-time Academic All-American as she was placed on third team. The junior works toward her degree in marketing. In 2025, Porcher took down the mile school record and was a part of the distance medley relay record team. The distance star is fresh off earning Second Team All-America, her second All-America honor, taking 12th in the 5K at NCAA Outdoor Championships. Porcher joined ISU hall-of-famer Betsy Saina as the only Cyclone women to earn multiple honors in the outdoor 5K.
