AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State football team is ranked No. 22 in the Associated Press preseason poll, its first time being ranked in the season's initial poll since the 2021 season.
The preseason poll sets up a Top-25 showdown in the Aer Lingus Classic as Kansas State checks in at No. 17. It will be the first ranked meeting between the Cyclones and Wildcats since 2002.
Iowa State opens the 2025 season August 23 in Dublin, Ireland against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Season tickets are on sale, here. Single-game tickets and mini-packs are also available now.
