Cyclones in the NFL: Week 4 Recap

Brock Purdy returned to the field, while Jayden Higgins snagged his first career touchdown, as 14 Cyclones saw action in week four.

Week five will feature Purdy and the 49ers in prime time against the Rams on Thursday Night Football, while Baltimore and Houston will meet on Sunday in a game that will feature six Cyclones.

Brock Purdy – #13, San Francisco 49ers (3-1)
After missing the last two weeks with a toe injury, Purdy made his way back to the field on Sunday in a loss against Jacksonville. Purdy had his 11th 300-plus yard passing outing and his 23rd multi-touchdown outing against the Jags.

Jayden Higgins – #81, Houston Texans (1-3)
Higgins made his only catch count on Sunday, as he pulled in a 24-yard toss from quarterback C.J. Stroud to secure his first NFL touchdown. Higgins now has a catch of at least 20 yards in three of his four career games.

Breece Hall – #20, New York Jets (0-4)
Hall was tied for a team-high 81 rushing yards against the Dolphins, as he averaged 5.8 yards a carry. Hall's five receptions were tied for the second-most on the team and he now has at least 30 receiving yards in three of the four games this year.

Jake Hummel – #35, Baltimore Ravens (1-3)
With Ravens' linebacker Roquan Smith going down with an injury against the Chiefs, Hummel stepped in and took the second-most defensive snaps of his career (28). Hummel finished with five tackles (two solo) and played 22 special teams snaps, too.

Jaylin Noel – #14 – Houston Texans (1-3)
Noel was featured in a variety of ways Sunday afternoon. He caught one pass and rushed once, in addition to being featured in the return game. Noel didn't have the chance to return a kickoff but had three punt returns for a total of 15 yards.

Will McDonald IV – #9, New York Jets (0-4)
McDonald registered two tackles for the Jets on Monday Night Football, with one going for a loss.

David Montgomery – #5, Detroit Lions (3-1)
