MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Iowa State (4-0, 0-0 Big 12) earned their fourth win of the 2025 season over Milwaukee (0-3, 0-0 Horizon) by set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-20. For the first time in program history, Iowa State has hit at .400 or better in three straight matches.Â
Amiree Hendricks-Walker was the leader this evening with 12 kills, with Tierney Jackson right behind with nine kills in the match. Five Cyclones ended the match with seven or more kills.
Jackson also continues to be a leader in number of blocks, earning one every set this match. Morgan Brandt led the Cyclones in three aces, while Maya Duckworth earned two.Â
SET ONEÂ
Alea Goolsby and Amiree Hendricks-Walker both led the Cyclones in kills, each putting up four in the first set. Iowa State only allowed Milwaukee to put up 18 points in the first set.Â
SET TWOÂ
Iowa State was aggressive throughout the entire second set, ending with 25-14 on the scoreboard. Six Cyclones had a least one or more kills, with Hendricks-Walker owning five of them.Â
SET THREEÂ
To start off the set, the Cyclones went on a scoring streak with two back-to-back kills from Tierney Jackson and Lilly Wachholz. Although they fell behind at 12-9, Iowa State ended the third and final set with 16 kills and a score of 25-20.Â
