Cyclone Duo Wrap Up Round Two of the NCAA Columbus Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Both Paul Beauvy and Zach May shot a 78 (+7) today and fell down the leaderboard entering the final round at the NCAA Columbus Regional. With one round to go and the top individual not amongst the top-five teams sitting at +1 and tied for seventh (Shane Ochs, Wright State), the Cyclone senior duo has some ground to make up if they want to qualify for the NCAA Championship.

Beauvy dropped 30 spots into a tie for 41st (+8) following a seven-over par day on the course. The senior just couldn't find much momentum today, carding three birdies against six bogeys and two doubles to finish +7 on the day.

May fell 12 spots into a tie for 54th (+11) entering the final round of play tomorrow. The Christchurch, New Zealand native carded a birdie on Hole 4 to get to one-under on the day, but followed it up with a double bogey and six bogeys to end his second round seven-over.

May will tee off his final round tomorrow at 8:31 a.m. CT with Beauvy to immediately follow at 8:42 a.m. CT at the OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio.
