AMES, Iowa - Iowa State ends the 2026 indoor and outdoor season tying the program high with 25 All-America honors, a national champion, four Big 12 titles and 15 new school records. A total of 13 of ISU's 25 All-America honors brought in were First Team.

The Iowa State women and men have now scored at every indoor and outdoor NCAA Championships for three-straight seasons. It is the first time the Cyclones have done so since 1989-91.
ISU totaled 16 All-America honors in outdoor season. Six of those honors were first team, the highest total outdoors by the men and women since 1996. The women finished sixth with 30 points, the highest team finish at any NCAA Championship in program history.

At NCAA Indoor Championships, the women took 15th with 14 points, both the highest finish and point total at indoor championships by the women since 2013.
Iowa State took gold, silver and bronze throughout 2026 NCAA Championships, with Mercyline Kirwa the national 10k champ and 5k runner-up outdoors, while the women's DMR took bronze at indoor nationals.
Kirwa went on to be named the USTFCCCA Midwest Region Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and the Iowa State Celia Barquin Arozamena Female Athlete of the Year. Head Coach Jeremy Sudbury earned USTFCCCA Midwest Region Women's Outdoor Coach of the Year following outdoor season.

A historic group of seniors leaves Iowa State holding 14 school records and 34 All-America honors.
Rachel Joseph caps a historic collegiate career as an eight-time All-American, the 2025 USTFCCCA Indoor and Outdoor Regional Track Athlete of the Year, four-time Big 12 champ and the 2024-25 Iowa State Female Athlete of the Year. Joseph is the sixth eight-time All-American in ISU men's and women's history.
Makayla Clark owns the most school records by any ISU woman or man with eight. Joseph owns the second-most with seven to her name. Clark and Joseph join five other Iowa State women who have earned six All-America honors in their careers.
