CARY, N.C. – Iowa State junior Mari Paz Alberto Vilar dropped her first match in qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships Monday morning.
Alberto Vilar, the nation's No. 66 player, fell to the Tar Heel junior Hamilton in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
Alberto Vilar returns to action tomorrow against Marianne Angel from UC Santa Barbara.
