Iowa State Earns Four More Wins On Final Day

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Iowa State tennis team collected four wins on the final day of the Husker Invitational with Valentina Vargas leading the way going 2-0.
Vargas earned a doubles win alongside Millie Day as the pair beat the Denver duo of Remy Nguyen and Natali Jaiani, 8-3.
Vargas then beat Kansas' Anna Putilina, 6-3, 2-6, 6-0.
Gabriella Kellner and Valeska San Martin Ramirez also collected wins.
Kellner rolled past KU's Simryn Jacob, 6-2, 6-2. San Martin Ramirez finished the tournament in winning fashion with a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win against Wichita State's Alisa Ozgun.
