Made the finals of the Cyclone Open, advancing to the championship match with a 3-2 victory over No. 18 Carter Isley of Northern Iowa ... Finished the season with three falls, a major decision and a tech fall ... Finished career with a 42-17 record.
2020-21
Academic All-Big 12 First-team… announced that he will be using his extra year of eligibility next season… posted a 3-1 record during the 2021 season… two bonus-point victories on the year, one by major decision and one by fall.
2018-19
Transferred into Iowa State from Oklahoma State for his redshirt sophomore season… compiled a 12-8 record… finished in the top-five in all four open tournaments during the season… wrestled back for third at the Lindenwood Open… finished fourth at the Grand View Open and Loras Open… started the year with a fifth-place finish at the Cyclone Open… won nine of his 16 matches by bonus-point margin… recorded six falls, one tech fall and two major decisions.
2017-18
Went 15-5 at heavyweight, all in tournaments … 11 of his 15 wins came with bonus points, including 11 falls to share the team lead for the highest total in the season … Placed third in three of the four tournament he competed in … Also went 3-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
2016-17
Went 10-4 at heavyweight, competing exclusively in open tournaments for the Cowboys … Recorded six bonus point wins, with all six coming by fall ... Went 4-1 with two pins at the Joe Parisi Open to finish second … Also competed at the Outlaw Open and Norseman Open.
High School: Turned in a 184-14 record at Southeast Polk High School on his way to two Iowa state championships competing for head coach Jason Christenson … Made the Cadet Greco World Team in 2014, and took home bronze in Greco-Roman at the Pan-American Cadet Championships in 2015.
