Earned academic All-Big 12 second-team honors ... fifth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (56.58) at the Sun Angel Track Classic ... placed fifth in the 400-meter dash (58.40) at the Kansas Relays ... finished 21st in the 200-meter dash at the Sun Angel Track Classic ... 25th-place finish in the 400-meter dash (57.75) at the Raleigh Relays ... ISU Holiday Preview champion in the 300-meter run (40.43) ... seventh-place finish in the 200-meter run (25.18) fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash (57.42) at the ISU Open.
Before Iowa State
Achieved collegiate best times in the 100-meter dash (12.19) and in the 200-meter dash (25.26) at the University of Richmond ... was a part of the Spiders 4x100-meter relay squad that earned second team All-Atlantic 10 Conference in 2007... Hawkins also played a role in setting three school records, one with the 4x100-meter relay team, and the other two with the 4x400-meter relay squad which set the record both indoors and outdoors.
