Transferred to Millard South after her freshman year...Omaha World-Herald Female Athlete of the Year in 1997...a “Fab 50” volleyball recruit by Volleyball Magazine...led her team to three-straight Metro Conference and district championships...team was state champion her junior season and state semifinalist her sophomore and senior years...finalist for Nebraska’s 1997 Miss Basketball award...three-time all-division pick, captaining the squad twice...all-conference and all-state twice...vote to super-state team...member of two state all-tournament teams, captaining the 1997 squad...three-time high jump state champion...won state title in 100m hurdles...three-year conference and district champion...ranked 10th nationally in the high jump by Track & Field News...an all-state volleyball pick her senior year...earned all-conference volleyball recognition twice...owns school track records for high jump (5-10) and 100-meter high hurdles (14.98)...school record-holder in volleyball for blocks and kills...owns school’s basketball career mark for rebounds and is second to only her sister in career points...National Honor Society member...named LITE 96 Sportswoman of the Year...voted all-around student three times by her classmates...Wendy’s High School Heisman state winner and regional finalist...participated in the DARA program as a representative and role model...high school basketball coach was Rich Olson.

Journalism and sociology double-major...born Jan. 5, 1979...parents are Bonnieand Marc Cizek...father played football and ran track for Nebraska-Omaha...her first word was “basketball”...played for the Daubert/Woodsmen All-Star AAU team, taking second in the national tournament...has two sisters, Sara and Stacie...Sara played basketball at Creighton, while Stacie competed on the hardwood for South Dakota State.
