One of four Cyclones to appear in all 35 contests… made 16 starts, including the final 11 contests… averaged 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, increasing her numbers to 6.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per game in conference play… finished five contests with double figure scoring… just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds at Cincinnati (Feb. 5)… posted 11 points on with three 3-pointers with seven rebounds at Kansas (Feb. 15)… followed up with a season-high 13 points on 5-of-6 field goals with five rebounds, an assist and a steal… added 10 points with three triples and three rebounds in Iowa State’s win over No. 14 Kansas State (March 2).
2023-24
Played in all 33 games for Iowa State while starting six contests... averaged 5.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 19.2 minutes per game as part of one of the nation's most exciting freshman classes... was second on the team for free throw percentage (.857), finishing 30-of-35 on the season... scored a season-high 17 points at St. Thomas (MN) (Nov. 29) on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor including three 3-pointers... scored 12 points in the Cyclones' NCAA Tournament First Round contest against Maryland, knocking down two key second-half 3-pointers while going 4-of-4 at the free throw line to help ISU rally from a 20-point deficit... scored in double figures five times... finished shooting .500 or better from beyond the arc 14Â times as a freshman... swiped a season-high four steals at Drake (Nov. 12) and was second-best on the season for ISU with 27 steals... pulled down a season-high nine rebounds against Southern (Nov. 20) and matched the total against UNCW (Dec. 3)... scored 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from deep and 4-of-4 from the charity stripe in Iowa State's double-overtime victory against then-No. 7 Kansas State (Feb. 14) while pulling down seven rebounds.

Three-time IGCA All-State member (First Team in 2022, 2023)… Three-time IPSWA All-State member (First Team in 2022, 2023)… Finished senior season at West Liberty third among all classes and led Class 3A in points scored (591)… Second in Class 3A for rebounds (285) and field goals made (194)… As a junior, led Iowa City High to a 5A State Quarterfinal appearance… Led the Little Hawks with 512 points, shooting nearly 43 percent from the floor, and added 151 rebounds.

Daughter of Brian and Lisa Joens... has four sisters, Courtney, Ashley, Aubrey and Bailey... was coached by her sister, Courtney, for one season at West Liberty... sister Ashley is Iowa State's all-time leading scorer with 3,060 points among many other records... is third sister to play for head coach Bill Fennelly at Iowa State... worked at the family restaurant "Joensy's" in Iowa City growing up.
