Smith was hired as an assistant gymnastics coach on June 30, 2025.
Prior to Iowa State
Ragan Smith was a five-time NCAA All-American with Oklahoma (2020-24) where she also spent time as a student coach (2025). During her time competing for OU, Smith collected four Big 12 individual championships and produced 11 perfect 10.0 scores on balance beam. Smith was a part of three championship seasons at OU, including back-to-back titles as an athlete (2022 & 2023) and one as a student coach (2025).
Smith earned six WCGA All-American honors, was named the 2020 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, collected eight All-Big 12 recognitions, was Regional Beam Champion twice (2023 & 2024) and excelled in the classroom, earning three Academic All-Big 12 First Team nods. Below are her career highs.
