Registered a 6-9 record with three pins … Grand View Open champion … went 5-0 with three pins to win the Grand View Open … also wrestled at the Luther Open, Cyclone Open and Soldier Salute.

2023-24
Made a remarkable recovery during the offseason from a potentially life-threatening Strep A infection in his knee … underwent five surgeries in 10 days to clean out the infection while preserving as much quad tissue as possible (more on the story can be read, here) … posted a 6-7 record on the mat … registered four bonus-point wins (two major decisions, two tech falls).
