Compiled a 19-8 record during his redshirt freshman campaign… recorded a runner-up finish at the Last Chance Open… tallied several third-place finishes, including the Cyclone Open, Grand View Open and Dave Edmonds Open… competed at the Southern Scuffle, compiling a 2-2 record… won 12 matches by bonus-point margin… recorded eight pins, two technical falls and two major decisions.

Redshirted his initial season at Iowa State… scrapped to a 2-0 record… took first place at the Cyclone Open in the freshman/sophomore division… won by 17-2 technical fall over Zac Stork of Grand View and pinned Truman State’s Will Tindal in 4:38.
