Took advantage of the NCAA’s redshirt rule which allows freshmen to wrestle on up to five countable dates and maintain their redshirt status … wrestled to a 14-3 overall record, including 13-3 in countable matches … book-ended season with titles at the Grand View Open and Last Chane Open … placed second at the UNI Open and North Country Open … finished third at the Daktronics Open and Cyclone Open … seven bonus-point wins on the year (three major decisions, four tech falls) … did not place at the Southern Scuffle.
