Took advantage of the NCAA’s redshirt rule which allows freshmen to wrestle on up to five countable dates and maintain their redshirt status … posted a 9-5 overall record, including a 9-3 mark in his countable matches … registered a 2-2 record in his four dual appearances … defeated Lock Haven’s two-time All-American No. 13 Anthony Noto, 9-3 … also beat North Dakota State’s Kyle Burwick, 7-3 … BVU Open champion … placed fourth at the Grand View Open … finished the season with three bonus-point victories (two tech falls, one major decision).
